Meet the Artisan
Artisan Daniel Ford has been passionate about working with wood ever since he received his first pocket knife at age 5. His mother has been the proud recipient of many of his first creations which she cherishes to this day. He proposed to his wife with the ring hidden inside a lovely jewelry box that he fashioned by hand. To this day he takes great pleasure in handcrafting exquisite pieces from repurposed or responsibly harvested North American hardwoods. He is always on the hunt for interesting pieces of wood with unique grain patterns on his property or from other sources in Southwest Michigan. He loves to keep the wood as earthy and raw as possible, so he leaves live edges on most of his designs whenever possible. As a natural flow minimalist, his goal is to magnify the natural beauty of each piece. All of his creations are heirloom quality that will last a lifetime and the finishes on each piece are divine. He is also passionate about complete customer satisfaction. He will go above and beyond to ensure you are delighted with any piece that you have purchased.
